I wish all of our LEO's had your attitude Glenn. In all honesty, I believe most do.

I looked at the NRA website and found the schedule of the show, but I could not find the prices? Is there a fee to enter for members or non-members?

This is a corrspondence between a THR member and someone at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

Mr. ******l,

Thank you for spotting the error on our web site regarding handguns. We
modified our rules regarding handguns when the law you cite became
effective. Unfortunately, those that maintain our web site inserted the old
version of our rules and regulations. The provision which we include in our
standard rules and regulations for those using the convention center is as
follows:

18. CONCEALED HANDGUNS.
Possession of firearms is forbidden in the Facility with the exception of
the following: (i) licensed peace officers and licensed honorably retired
peace officers and (ii) exhibitors and patrons during duly licensed gun
shows and (iii) individuals licensed by the State of Texas to carry
concealed handguns.

We will undertake to correct our web information ASAP. Please feel free to
contact me if you have questions.

Great visit to the NRA show in Houston on Friday. Great show. Good facilities. No entrance fee. Good people. Lots of the latest. Good prizes and goodies to pick up. CHL-friendly. Plenty of parking.

Great visiting with fellow former Marine, Lee Ermie, "The Gunny" on TV (History Show and others).

My brother and I spent lots of money.

Two days left. Go if you can.

Respectfully,
Phil

Just read the GRB License Agreement Standard Terms and Conditions on the GRB Web site.

GRB License Agreement now contains the language with excludes CHL from the provision that forbids carring firearms.

In other words the the License Agreement allows CHL holders can carry in the GRB.

See the language in paragraph 23 on page 8 of the License Agreement
