To add to what Jim said, yes, it is international trap, and it's *much* harder than American trap. I saw a piece about it on Shooting USA, when they were profiling the USA Olympic shooters.

Thanks for the info (and the link Xander)! I knew there had to be something different. I wish they would show some of these events on TV. It sounds very interesting....

It's a shame about the 50m rifle competition. Two Olympics in a row now, he's had an easy gold medal coming down to the last shot, then blew it.
