You must have very small car if there is no room for a safe. The COM is about the size of a regular hardback book (9 1/2"x6 1/2") They are also easy to install. Yall you have to do is loop a cable a seat frame. Yes, it can be broken into but it will atleast slow someone down than just having to open a glovebox or center console.

I do have a small car and I can fit one of those under the seat. The problem is how do I get my gun in and out of the box without being seen by anyone walking by? When I take it out of my handbag it's not concealed.

How about a scarf or handkerchief to cover it? Anything to cover it while moving it from one to the other.

This may only be me but I don't have many people walking by looking into my truck. I normally stay beside my truck and take my pistol out of my IWB and place in on my safe. The cable is long enough in most cases to long enough that you can sit in the seat so you can take it out of a purse and place it right into the safe. So unless someone is looking in your window right as do it you shoudl be fine. When I am placing my gun in the safe I take a quick look around to make sure that no one is standing about me. Most people are so into themselves that they have no idea what you are doing.
