They're pretty easy to cast into 45-pound plates. TAM uses them in his home gym until he needs 'em for bullits.

Also, if this hasn’t been discussed yet, I was watching a Johnny B video on YouTube yesterday which explained that a lot of detail about this is being left out on both sides. According to him, yes, there will be no import license renewal, but the current licenses don’t expire for another 2 years. So for the next two years anyway, the Russian ammo will still be coming in. We'll see how things change between now and then. Maybe we'll take back Congress and make Bei Den Jo's remaining term hell for him.

I bought dies, mold, etc to load for 7.62x39, but it's more as a backup than anything to all the ammo I do have. That said, I'm certainly going to develop some loads for it in the meantime.
