When they have it . That's the problem . If I ever see it at WW , I'll be all over it for that price.

Not that it will help you but the Wallyy World in Plano at Spring Creek and Custer( i think it is custer) had a whole lot of the 9mm at the prices mentioned above. that was maybe 4 days ago and I didn't post it because there seems to be a lot of the 9mm available these days.

By the by...I would still like to see a pic of that Monarch ammo...the hollow point stuff.

Yeah , I used some of it as practice ammo and saved some for the zombies.

BTW , I just finished cleaning my gun and that Monarch ammo seems to be just as clean as Winchester .

Thanks for posting the pics USA1. :tiphat: That's not very pretty stuff, but I bet it will polish up real good.

All said, I'd much rather have that, than FMJ for carry. :???:

Usa1 thanks for posting up the pic. I was not able to since my camera memory card seems to have some problem... Computer says unrecognized media. But anyhow yeah that's the crude hollow point stuff I was talking about. Seriously just looks like the took their fmj bullets and ground off the tip and drilled a little hole in it. I'll stick to my gold dots for carry ammo....

It LOOKS like USA AMMO has 45 ACP for $16 box/50 in stock. It is once fired by I have shot their 9mm and it worked just fine for target practice.

Do you know if they are going to charge tax to Texas residents?

Well darn...they do. That just made the ammo 20 bucks a box for reloads. Too rich for my blood. That really stinks... I was just firing up to order a case. Now I am bummed out... :grumble . Thanks for the heads up, just the same.

I just scored 600 rounds of wwb 45acp at the walmart on dezavala rd.( In San Antonio) They still have about 10 boxes of the value packs and they also had the federal fmj in 50 rd boxes for 15.97. The 100 rd value packs were 32.97, I remember a few months ago they were always 28.97.... Still an ok price I guess. Btw the way the did have lots of the federal 45 and had loads and loads of wwb 9mm 100 rd value packs for 20.97 if I remember correctly

For those interested in knowing more about Monarch branded ammo found at Academy, I did some snooping in some other gun forums, and found out their ammo is made by a Prvi Partizan in Serbia. They private label Academy's ammo for them.

They do give ballistics for what they make on thier website, but I have no idea of the accuracy of their claims:
