I have the backpack one (the big black one), I also got the aluminum dolly that goes with it. Outstanding combination, I have been really really happy with it. They sell a foam insert for the bottom compartment so you can store either 4 or 5 handguns in it.Jumping Frog wrote:I have the same bag.circumspice_tuebor wrote:I've been using this one from MidwayUSA for about 18 months for IDPA/Action Pistol/3Gun and general range use:

If I had to do it over again, I would take a hard look at the Shooting Bags offered by Competitive Edge Dynamics. MidwayUSA copied their stuff anyway, and from what I have seen the CED has better quality. They have both shooting bags and shooting backpacks.
I like the looks of their CED/DAA RangePack Pro Backpack and their CED Deluxe Professional Range Bag

Re: Range bag for multiple handguns
Over priced to say the least! That's the one I have. Picked up from DVOR sale sometime back for $60 +/- a bit. Nice unit, plenty of storage for all you range needs, albeit I carry ammo in another bag and re-purposed the gun rack pocket since I carry my guns in separate cases.jmra wrote:Looks like they relabeled the G outdoor handgunner backpack. Seahorse. Got it off amazon. Seems to be just as good as a Pelican.PBratton wrote:Pelican?sookandy wrote:It's not a bag but this is what I have.

Re: Range bag for multiple handguns
I bought this CaseClub hard case from Amazon, holds five semi-autos (no wheel guns) and has compartments for mags and a large compartment for whatever. It's a nice case, well made.

Re: Range bag for multiple handguns
these are some great options, much better than my midway usa competition range bag that holds maybe 4 pistols if i squeeze them in
those foam inserts look perfect and keep them nice and secure.
Guess it's time to suck it up and drop some cash on a nice range backpack

Decided to go with the handgunner backpack. I think it's going to be the best fit for me.
Thanks again for all the input.

Re: Range bag for multiple handguns
several of us use the CED Pro bag and it is the fantastic. Granted, not cheap but on the dolley it works great for matches, getting to and from the truck to the range etc. Can't say anything bad about it.

I know the Shoot Smart range in Grand Prairie carries them; probably the one up near Alliance as well.rentz wrote:who carries them? i think that might be the exact bag i need for range nirvana.jmra wrote:Decided to go with the handgunner backpack. I think it's going to be the best fit for me.

Re: Range bag for multiple handguns
Recognizing that you already made your choice, I wanted to go ahead and post this because your search got me to thinking about my own less than functional range bags and prompted me to see what I might find to do a bit better. After looking at all of the ones mentioned in this thread I stumbled across this one:
GPS-T1612 Tactical (https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=gp ... 0329364485" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
I found it on Amazon and got it about an hour or so ago and have been playing and I have to say that I'm liking it a whole lot! One of the neatest features is the compartment with the three individual gun carriers, with padded section for the gun on one side and mag holders on the other. Load up, then just pull each gun individually when you're ready for that particular gun.
