Re: What firearm do you want to get next?
Other than getting the rest of my parts for the new AR I am building, I can't wait to get my hands on one of the new Keltic Sub2000's that takes the M&P9 mags

I hope this isn't a double reply, but if this open carry thing does indeed go through, I'm thinking about buying a quality full-size "service revolver" like a S&W 586 or a Ruger GP100.

You might look into a S&W 327 too. It's a K frame .357 Mag with an 8 round cylinder. Not particularly cheap or easy to find (and dealers kept confusing it with a .327 Mag), and I had to look around for speed loaders, but it's a great gun --S&W Performance model.K.Mooneyham wrote:I hope this isn't a double reply, but if this open carry thing does indeed go through, I'm thinking about buying a quality full-size "service revolver" like a S&W 586 or a Ruger GP100.

Savage Mark I G, single-shot, .22 S/L/LR. Ordered on-line (impossible to find locally), and should be here this week! I had a Mark I GY years ago when I was teaching my kids to shoot, and fell in love with it. Felt kind of nostalgic I guess, and decided to get the full-size version just for fun. I actually have some .22 Short, and Long ammunition left from those days as well. Just something about a single-shot I really love!
(BTW, I am seriously considering a Walther PPS in .40 caliber as well, but for a more "social" use.)

I can't keep up. The April American Rifleman short-circuited my previous plans by covering the Savage A17. A new semi-auto 17 HMR. This is the first non-custom semi-auto 17 HMR since the original introduction debacle and recalls. Gotta have it.

Just picked up a new sporting clays gun a few weeks ago. A Blaser F3 luxus with 32" barrels. Really like the way it feels compared to the high rib Blaser I've been shooting.

Very nice. I shot mine better out of the box the first day than I had my G22 after having it for 10 years.silverbear wrote:Glock 21SF acquired yesterday.silverbear wrote:Next on my list is a Glock .45, not sure which model yet.

I bought a .30 cal suppressor on Tuesday, and I am working on a parts list for a high end SBR.

I think I'd like to build a 1911 CCO in 9mm/38 Super
