opinion on Tarus Pt709 slim 9mm

The first semi auto I purchased was the 709. I couldn't hit the side of a barn with it. I'm sure most of that was my fault but the price was right for me at the time. I sold it and bought a Glock 26 and was amazed at how I was able to shoot it out of the box. I've since bought the 9mm shield and a sig 938. All three shoot equally good for me. I'm sure my shooting skills improved but part of my trouble was the 709. Inexperience difinetly was a factor for me. I had no idea about trigger pull and grip pressure. All I can say is get what ever you like, can afford and are comfortable with.
