S&W .357 cleaned up new grips

finally finished cleaning and polishing this gun. took a while to complete but here it is in all it's glory. By far my favorite revolver.
alIso posted a new to me gun that was my grandfathers a US Revolver .32 5 shot break open. Had it dated on another forum as 1916 so next year 100 years old

Great job, looks really nice and the time invested was well worth it....

The grips I got from Altamont Grips. yep everyone I show them to loves the grips. very good prices to for S&W revolvers :txflag:

Thank, I get that gun out of the safe once a week just to hold it.. I've only shot it 2 times. My range guy looked it up and told me it's value in present condition

Thanks I was really happy to get my grandfather gun. My brother ex-wife got it in their divorce 20+ year ago. I still talk to her a lot she found it in box emailed and asked if I wanted it. I was the last one to shoot the gun when I was 8 yrs old (50 yrs ago) I found it in my grandmothers bathroom cabinet sneaked outside
with it loaded one round and pulled the trigger. :mrgreen: I was still dirty when I got it.

From your story it sounds like it was meant for you to have it. Who said nice guys finish last? Congrats again. It's a wonderful keep sake just like it is.

My dad had a 32 revolver very much like that one. I had hoped to get it some day, but it disappeared from the house while I was away in the Air Force. Believe a b-i-l got it since he was the only one that had access to the house at the time.

That S&W is downright gorgeous.... :drool:

I know what you mean, my brother got everything else as always, if his ex didn't have this I would have got nothing. My mother left everything to him and my sister. Nothing to :cryin about.
