My wife and I have CHLs and she keeps bugging me about having some kind of insurance to help pay lawyers fees etc. if one of us is forced to defend our self with a firearm.

This is a subject that's frequently discussed here on the forum. Both the NRA and [Pre-paid legal service] offer legal representation plans that differ in how they approach the subject, but seem to be two of the most popular. A lot of folks don't see the need, or don't buy into the need for such services, preferring to depend on attorneys that they already have a relationship to.Rifleman55 wrote:My wife and I have CHLs and she keeps bugging me about having some kind of insurance to help pay lawyers fees etc. if one of us is forced to defend our self with a firearm.
In this case, the forum search function is really your best friend, as threads on the subject often get off track rapidly, and sometimes wind up being locked out.
If you want to PM me, I'll tell you what I have done, and why.
