From the Marines I have had the honor of knowing, maybe I take it too serious. My family members and close friends that served in the Marine Corps, one of which is the 65 year old pastor of my church, would never refer to themselves as ex-Marines, nor will I. Lately though, in politics particularly, I believe there are a few that served honorably that now consider themselves Ex's. I have unintentionally divirted the direction of a good topic. My apologies.
