Kimber Pro Carry II (internal extractor) chambered in 9mm.

Image

Upgrades include Wolff springs, STI carbon fiber ultra light trigger, C&S slim grips screws/bushings, Wilson 30lpi checkered mainspring housing with lanyard ring, Colt mag catch (matches horizontal lines of grip screws and cocking serrations ;-) ) VZ black paper micarta ultra thin grips, XS tritium standard dot front sight, factory plain black serrated rear sight notch widened .020 to allow more light to show on either side of the front sight and lastly, Metalform 9 round mags with dimpled followers.
All work done at the HV custom shop.

Round count so far 236.

That is some fine work.
What is you present lead time on a custom job like that?

Good shooting too.

Thanks fellas...

Carlson, yep, that lesson really paid off. My front sight was well illuminated.

LT, The HV custom shop is a by-the-seat-o-the-pants operation. I have spare time but all parts come in by way of the barter system. The budget is VERY small. Lucky for me, I am a good trader and I like to tinker.

Jbirds, I am gonna need a trailer for all the stuff I'm bringing. BTW, it broke the perf!

How long was your wait & I want to hear a range report on accuracy & the trigger job.

Next time we shoot together should be the PSC forum day.
Got the sights on that Springer fixed. They were still shooting a little to the left. Man, I hope the Texas Star is out that Sat.
cant wait
Cant Wait
CANT WAIT.

BTW - Did you find any mags for your G.
I may never own one of them but I need to learn a little about them as popular as they are. Especially since one of them outshot me & my to the left Springer. If it happens again in Sept the OLD MAN will not have an excuse one.
See you then.
Check you PMs.

I believe that a challenge might be cloaked in that statement! LOL. You can shoot anyway but toward me and I would have fun with you.....even if we are shooting those 100 year old guns!

I will show you everything I know about Glocks when we meet again. Just put about three minutes aside.

Take care.

That's a great looking pistol! I really like the look of those grips. One question though... Who shot that target for you? :smilelol5:

Sorry HV I couldn't resist. Besides you are a WAY better shot than me.

Great shooting BTW.

I am really curious as to how that shoots compared to my stock EMP.

I don't think HV has seen a flyer in a long time... at least not one of his own. ;-)

Thanks SSG.

If anyone wants me to post a pic of the target without the gun and mags in the way, I am willing to do that. ;-)

I am no stranger to flyers. Usually about the time I start to get exited about putting a bunch of bullets in one hole, I'll pull one about 4 inches out. But even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while.
