S&W M&P Shield 9mm in stock anywhere?

Anyone know of a store in North Texas (North Dallas preferred) that has this in stock?

I have been to Bullet Trap, Frisco Gun Club, GunGeartoGo... None of them have it, nor do their distributors. Looking for a store that takes trades also if possible.

I haven't been to a gun show in years. Is it worth going to the gun show in Mesquite this coming weekend to try and locate this gun?

You can always pick them up online. I got one from Buds Police Supply but you can get them from Buds Gun here

Trying to trade a Taurus PT92 for it. Bullet Trap graded it at 80% today, and suggested a consignment price of $400. I obviously would take less than that if you were interested since I would save on their commission.

You might check with GT Distributors. They can order one for you. They might take the Taurus in trade, but they won't give you anywhere near $400 for it...

Yeah, just talked to them... They dont have that gun in the store. Have to order online and wait for it to show up at the store. Also, they dont take trade ins...

I got mine by pestering 4 different Academy stores!! I'd have them check online for other locations as well and it payed off one day when they told me about a 5th store that had one. I called that one direct, told them "I'm on my way!" Now it's my primary carry weapon!

Its amazing that these are STILL sold out so many places. How long have they been out now, a year and a half? Two?

I bought an LC9 right when the shield came out, thinking that the shortage would be temporary. Guess I was wrong.

Thanks for the heads up on Academy... I called around and found that the one in Frisco had one. Went and grabbed it today.
