The biggest thing I noticed in the video (the parts I could bear to watch, that is) is that this ammo guarantees a miss almost every time. You aim for center mass & the bullet breaks into 3 projectiles that immediately fly apart and hit at least 7" from your point of aim.

Added to that is that each projectile is only 1/3rd the weight of the original bullet. In the case of .45 ACP, a 230gr bullet breaks up into three 76gr "flying wings". How much penetration do you think you'll get from that light a projectile, flying at maybe 850 fps and hitting the target broadside?

No thanks. This stuff makes a neat pattern when it hits a paper target, but it's just going to tick off a real BG.

Not to mention, when the string acts as a "net", it is going to further restrict penetration...even if it comes detached. The energy lost from snapping the string will undoubtedly affect penetration.
