Gun Belt help (amazon)

#1

Post by jwine »

Ok I need some help from y'all.

Now that my CHL arrival is days away, I need to pick up a belt to carry IWB.

I was hoping to find a good one on amazon but I don't see anything that stands out. Now I would usually just buy direct but I have a $100 gift card on Amazon I want to use so I thought I would check if anyone knows of a good belt on Amazon.

Thanks for the help.

Guess I should have been more specific, I am leaning more towards a leather belt.

I will have a look though, thanks. :txflag:

If you search amazon for "leather belt for firearm"
You will get the results you want.
From there you are on your own.

I've worn this one daily for about a year now:
http://www.amazon.com/5-11-1-5-Inch-Lea ... 0019MT766/

Has a kydex-like stiffener between the leather layers. Never sags from the weight of a full-size XD or a 1911. It also has a nifty handcuff key hide away, which I've never seen the need to use....

Bullhide belts are great as well.

I'm caught between this one and the shepherd leather. But the 511 doesn't have sizes broke down by inches but small-xxxxlarge instead. I have no idea what size to order.

Go to the 5.11 website for sizing instructions.

I Highly recommend this instructor's belt. I got mine lined with velcro and a super tuck with velcro clips works great!

I have several of the 5.11 belts. I ran across a website that was having a closeout sale on them a while back & stocked up on a few sizes & styles.

Good enough for Oldgringo, good enough for me. Mine arrives Saturday.
