"The other service" is XM, which has three times the subscribers of Sirius.

And no, NRA isn't on it. I couldn't understand their excitement over joining Sirius.

Perhaps they were counting on people listening to radio via their televisions. When NRA chose Sirius, they also got Dish Network subscribers, who get Sirius channels through their satellite receivers.

But now, DirecTV is replacing their "Music Choice" channels with XM. So, the bigger satellite TV company and the bigger satellite radio company are pairing up.

I wonder if the NRA is making their shows available via podcast? There are tens of millions of iTunes users, all of whom could listen to the show via podcast.

I know about the website. I just find it utterly useless. It's cluttered, unclear, and poorly designed. I hate active content sites, and sites that assume everyone is using the latest/greatest systems with a broadband connection.
