They made a good training video out of that shoot out. They made some tragic mistakes. Hopefully by viewing the training video leos learned and future lives were saved. We were always taught that the handgun is defensive and to bring a long gun or shot gun if you have it when warranted. Once they started issuing them, I preferred the rifle.
