How is it we always seem to make it right back to bacon? :biggrinjester:

I know where I grew up in Plano, the reason of the decline in frogs, toads and horned toads had everything to do with Fire Ants and not turtles. I used to catch turtles when trying for catfish and most would die soon after swallowing my hook.

I haven't seen a horned toad in the wild since bacon was .39 cents a pound. Darned shame!

So I asked my brother in Ohio what he thought about turtles. He lives out in the middle of nowhere Ohio. It's 45 minutes to the closest mcDonalds if that helps to understand how far out he lives. Apparently the general consensus amongst farm owners with stock tanks in Ohio is that they should all be shot on sight. I hung up on him right after he admitted to his atrocities.
