How long have you had your CHL?

I'll go first: 6 years.

I'm counting from 1996-2000...so 5 years and 2 months.

Got mine back in Dec. of '06 so... about 5-1/2 months now

Close to 3 years, but not consecutively.

I had a CWP in Arizona for 2 years, then moved to Commiefornia in 2000 for business reasons. Didn't carry much when I lived in Arizona. Moved here in '05, and got my CHL in March of '06, and carry most of the time now.

Many of us took the classes in the fall of 1995 to be ready.

I think it was early February 1996 when I received mine.

Same here, 11 years.

Got lucky the first "go round" and got a 4 year license, some people got a 2 year....(staggered renewals). Boy, have the years flown by!

My daughter was 10 years old when I first got my CHL, now she will be taking the course next month.

That's long enough that it "don't feel right" when I don't have one on or about me within easy reach.
