Bachman Pawn - 2926 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas

They had a lot to choose from in the way of SD ammo but it was all overpriced(to be expected), and not much FMJ.
Nothing was over 50.00/box.

What I saw while I was in there was approx....

.380
WWB 50/box $40.00

9mm
Winchester Ranger Bonded JHP 50/box $45.00~
(May have been some T-Series too but I can't remember)

.40
Federal HST $45.00~
Winchester Ranger T-Series and SXT 50/box $40.00~

.45
Winchester Ranger T-Series 50/box $45.00~

They also had some American Eagle .50 BMG and some shotgun stuff.
Absolutely zero .22 cal.

I bought 300 of Fiocchi 115gr 9mm from ammotogo.com based here in Texas... ordered Wednesday, received Friday.

$20/bx, so yes, more expensive than normal but still better than most places, and shipping was very cheap.

I was able in two trips plus the wife Score 2 250 round packs of Remington UMC .45 price 95.00 a piece, 1 box of 9mm 250 rounds Remington UMC price 56 dollars and change, plus 4 boxes of 333 round packs hollow point .22 LR by Winchester for 9.97 a box. Showed up at just the right time.

And by your post count, 666, I hope you didn't have to sell "something" to "someone" for all that ammo...

Thanks for highlighting my post count which I hadn't noticed untill now. I didn't have to sell anything but I did hand over some coin for all that ammo.

I even called a buddy of mine and he rushed on down and was able to nab one of the .45 250 round packs and two of the .22 LR Hollow point 333 round packs himself.

Ordered ammo online from Mountain Range on 2/2. Original anticipated date 2/15. Nothing. Then early March. Nothing. Now mid-April. We'll see.

I know they are having supply problems, but what annoys me some is that there was no delay charging my card. They got their money 2/2. I get my ammo....April? May? 2015? A touch frustrating.

Academy off of Brodie Lane in Austin has
Monarch .45 ACP FMJ $18.99 and JHP $21.99
Independence 5.56 FMJ $9.99
Monarch 7.62x39 don't know the price as I didn't buy any.

Ofcourse they have the 1 box per caliber per customer. Wife and I both got 1 each of the .45 FMJ and 5.56 FMJ

It is at the customer service desk and there seemed to be plenty and it wasn't flying off the shelf.

I frequently drop in to Academy in Arlington to gaze at the empty bullet shelves. Just a hobby of mine. I was surprised today to find that they had gotten in a small load of several calibers. I bought one box of 9mm Monarch 115 gr FMJ. So far I have shot 350 rounds of this ammo with my Nano without a hiccup. It is excellent range ammo. Academy has not gone up on the price but is controlling hoarding by allowing an individual to buy only one box of each caliber. Maybe the shortages will start to subside.
