Why DHS needs 1.621 billion pistol rounds, how many pistol DHS has on hand, how many 5.56 rds did they purchase?

They train with JHP?

Supposedly there is a requirement for them to train with the same ammo they use in the field. I have to wonder if these purchases aren't partly to keep demand pressure up and keep ammo expensive and unavailable to civilians.

well, they can't use hollow point ammo against the citizens.. it's against the Geneva Convention to use hollow point ammo in war.

oh wait..
The Hague Convention of 1899, Declaration III, prohibits the use in international warfare of bullets which easily expand or flatten in the body. I don't think the geneva convention does.

What if the government and the ammo/gun manufacturer's are in bed with eath other??? High demand, low volume, high prices--rebounding economy--Dow Jones @14K--housing prices rising--Just think of the possibilities :lol:
