Went to WAlly World on Fry Rd in Katy to buy a light fixture. (1pm). I walked past the ammo locker and lo and behold they had Federal 9mm ($11.99) and 45 ACP ($18.95). Restricted to 3 boxes so that is all I bought.

Was at Walmart in Hudson Oaks Texas about 9:45 tonight. Cashier was putting out about 8 50ct boxes of 9mm TulAmmo. I forget the exact price, but it was under 10$. She also found a stray box of 45 for the gentleman in front of me, and was telling us that they sold a "military canister" of 1000 rounds of 223 that came in this afternoon for about 400$

CTD seems to have plenty if you want to pay $25/box + shipping + tax for an $11 box of ammo.

ammoman.com has 9mm JHP in stock right now, but it won't last.

I've placed two orders from PSA-- one for 500 rounds of 9mm target ammo just before the madness started, and one for a pistol last month.

Both were delivered as promised.

YMMV.
EDC-- Walther PPQ 9mm
Alternates: Walther PPS 9mm, Sig P226 9mm

Yeah I have some 223 that was in stock that I order 17 days ago and it is still ..processing

I should add they processed my card on jan 14th.

big box-o-ammo was leaning against my tree when I got home today with PSA written on it

So even though it took a month they came through so I'm happy and understanding.. :patriot:

That is only ten boxes of fifty. It never hurts to have a stock pile so you can have ammo while everyone else is running around chasing it all over the place.

I have to say. There is a certain comfort in having plenty of ammo when I read of folks paying double and triple for the limited supplies they can find.

I've got a good stock of range ammo, and i keep buying more as i find deals (especially if its cheap 223)
having a supply of defense ammo was really tempting me to snag a case

.
hopefully I'll only need :

5 rds of .357mag
14 rds of .380
52 rds of 9x19
8 rds of 9x18 for SD

for the range: I've gotten 2 buys of 100rd 9mm ball (4 Federal & 3 WWB) at WalMart in the last week - but the shelves are, once again, empty

Over the last few weeks I bought 500 rounds each of HP in .40, 9mm, and 380 auto from sgammo so I figure I have plenty of self-defense ammo for years. Target ammo - still looking for on-line deals in 9mm :totap: . Interestingly, sgammo seems to have a good selection of 380 auto, either FMJ or HP (at least they did yesterday!)

To get the 9mm target ammo you have to check sgammo several times a day, they had some a few days ago but it sells FAST

LOL. I think it was a week or two ago I was ordering 500 rounds of 9mm FMJ at sgammo and by the time I got to checkout, it was all gone. :grumble

That's because I got the last 3 cases while you were looking for your AmEx.
