Also found some Magtech 115 grain 9mm at Palmetto State Armory. About $15 per 50.

Looks like the Magtech is $13.99 per 50 now, and they're in stock: http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.ph ... tegory/99/
I just bought a few boxes to go to the range this week. As much as I don't like paying what worked out to $.32/round with shipping, I don't like getting into my reserves at the bottom of my safe. :coolgleamA:

Just buyer beware regarding Palmetto State Armory, I've heard bad things about them. I've never ordered from them before but I do have a couple boxes of .32 that should be coming "eventually" when they get caught up I guess:

Wow...I saw some good feedback on other forums but didn't see this. Good thing it's a small order and I ordered more ammo from a place with a bit better reputation. Is it just me or is customer service an issue across the industry?

I'm glad I started with a small order too. If things go well I might try a larger order. They had a good price on Gold Dots for my .32 so I gave it shot anyways.

I noticed that their ratings eroded as 2012 progressed. I guess they don't have the capacity to be a true national supplier.

I ordered a bunch from there last October and was really happy with the purchase - received it within about 3 days of placing the order. I just placed an order for a few boxes (before they sold out - they're all out now), and I'm not overly concerned about it, as long as I get it eventually.

I was off work today for illness and while at the WalMart picking up my prescriptions I was able to buy 3 boxes of Federal 9mm for the normal $11.95/box. The guy there said they only had a handful of boxes left because the last time they got a shipment of ammo was last monday and didn't know when to expect more.

I've ordered a lot from them in the past and never had an issue. They were responsive to my emails, shipping was fast, and I was a happy customer.

It's been a week for me. Do they notify you when it's shipped?

I thought CC merchant agreements prohibit charging a customer before the item is scheduled to ship.

This was always my impression as well but that was from an e-commerce class I took in College back in 2006. I have already been charged by them for the .32 i ordered and I have no shipping information. Two weeks and counting.

Strongly worded email may be in order.

I found my own answer:
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Is_it_legal_t ... he_product" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It is technically legal, but it isn't good business!! Most companies only charge when they ship. It is against VISA and MasterCard's regulations for a merchant to bill their cards prior to shipping.

Contrary to what some sources indicate, the Fair Credit Billing Act does not address if it is legal for a company to charge you before shipping the product. Instead, it makes it illegal to not ship within advertised time period (or 30 days if no expected shipping date is mentioned in the agreement). If a merchant says "this item takes 90 days to ship", then they may bill right away and not have a legal problem if they ship before the 90 day window.

That is reeeeeaaaaalllly squirrely. In other words, their customers finance their inventory.
