Biometric Gun safe under $300

#1

Post by CheckonChico »

I'm looking to buy a biometric gun safe for my glock 26 and two clips. I've done a search through the forum and haven't found one like what I'm looking for that everyone is completely satisfied with. I want one that will fit in a night stand drawer or under a bed, that doesn't need the batteries replaced every month or so, and is very dependable. Do you guys have any recommendations? I'm willing to spend up to $300 ....TIA!

I've had a Barska Biometric safe for several years now - still on the original set of batteries.

I like it. I have my thumb and Mrs. Chemist's thumb programmed in. It works quite well and costs less than $200.
The only complaint I have heard is that it beeps loudly so stealth operation is out of the question.
This is not a consideration for me, but if it were I bet I could find the sound device and either muffle it or silence it.

That's pretty much exactly the one I was leaning towards. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004FO37AC/ref=aa_ol_d" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The one I had in mind opens from the top tho. Thanks for your input!

I have the same one as Chemist45. I have thumb - middle finger of both of my hands as well as my wife's. I have turned off the beeps, since I get dressed before she has to wake up.
I may not be very smart, but I can lift heavy things.

This is by far the neatest looking one but I shied away from it because of the reviews
