Happy Memorial Day folks! Remember our troops and 911!!

Daughter, 19 yo granddaughter, and 9 yo grandson visited this weekend. She's from Colorado mountain country and pro gun!!

I was carrying in DeSantis OWB holster at 3:00. Jeans, black western shirt tucked, black holster, black Baretta .40. Not until I showed her my sidearm the next day did she realize I was carrying! (Even though she knew I carried). Proves another point that very few "alert" people scan your waist, crotch area and usually maintain visual on upper torso. Think the 2 kids might have noticed but no one said anything. Daughter is 43. She did some target practice with us. GD was gun-shy and didn't want any part of it...lol. GS was curious, but didn't want him to handle gun...he's a little hyperactive... GD just finished her freshman year at CU in Boulder, CO...nuf said...lol. She might eventually come around, but...

Gues more "proof" that is very unlikely that someone would be "outed", especially if the sidearm is concealedd properly.

I have noticed that most people who don't carry have a hard time telling who is carrying. I carry so I pay attention to this. None of my non-carrying friends ever notice.

This reminds me of when I was a cop several years ago and visited a friends apartment. I was open carrying a S&W 1006 with two spare mags and a handcuff pouch on and my friend's girlfriend didn't even notice until I pulled it out of the holster so he could check out the pistol. I had been walking around their apartment for at least thirty minutes. Some people just don't pay attention.
