Green as they come, status says mailed, so anytime now

I am just starting to inventory my man's extensive laundry list of goodies. Wondering if he is secretly regretting my new found CHL revelation. In the past he would come home with some type of new weapon/clips/ammo etc & when I asked "What it was for blahblahblah", his standard response of "It's a good investment" It was all I needed to hear before I lost interest in his new "gun stuff " and seized the opportunity to go unload a few shopping bags that I might have accidentally forgot to bring in from the car over the last few weeks, hahahaha.

Can't express how grateful I am to this forum for providing the answers to the many Huh? What If's? and Why's? that were lingering in my head (and were the reason that I was questioning whether or not I wanted to carry) for years. I have never joined any sort of internet forum before, but after spending the last 7 weeks combing the archives, I have decided to jump in and say hello. At the risk of sounding like a complete suck-up, I felt the need to thank all of the people who make this forum a safe (& sometimes hilarious) source of knowledge.
Sincerely, A Soon To Be Protected Texas Female (who was considering the plunge into C.C. but not sure if she would have the strength or knowledge to do so until she found this forum)

I am a 43 year old married father of 5.
I am an Occupational therapist specializing in pediatrics.
I received my CHL in Feb. 2012.

I own a RRA ar-15 and carry a colt commander.

Thanks for the advice on holsters. I went with the minotaur and is working well so far.

Going to UNT and should have my Bachelors of Applied Arts and Sciences next spring. I'm taking summer/fall/springs classes to get done.

Welcome to the forum. I guess you must be in Galveston County or not far from The Arms Room.

Do you know anyone who's hiring electrical engineers other than the high-voltage kind? ;-)

Need to be more specific about what sub-type EE. NASA, EPC, petrochemical, I&E, controls. Excluding power distribution narrows this down only a little.
