You probably don't know this, but the SHOT show is going on this week in Vegas. I'm not trying to make excuses for them, but they're probably operating on an extremely skeletal crew this week. Almost all STI employees are in Vegas.APynckel wrote:Alright, I have called STI 4 times today, and still haven't gotten a human on the phone to discuss my warranty.....![]()

If you're in the Austin area, Austin Gun Liquidators usually has some in stock.NORMAN wrote:Does anybody know who is stocking any STI ????

Re: Kimber / STI - Which One ???
I picked up an STI VIP a few weeks ago from Shooters Connection. I like the extra rounds and the grip does not feel that much bigger to me. I have about 300 rounds of round nose (wwb and rem.) and 100 rounds of hornady ftx, so far not a single malfunction and the sites are spot on. I think this one will soon replace my Kimber as my primary carry gun. Dont get me wrong, I love my Kimber, it was my first 1911 and I'll never sell it. I don't think you can go wrong with either, as long as you don't get the occasional lemon.
