New sights

#1

Post by Cdhutson »

I recently became the proud owner of a Kimber Crimson Pro Carry II. It goes without saying - it is a beautiful weapon - but - the matte black factory sights leave something to be desired in low light situations. Granted - it has a nice laser but I prefer tradional iron sights for everyday shooting. I've looked around and it seems there are many choices but I would like some recommendations if anyone has an opinion or two.

I personally like the Meprolight sights that Kimber sells on my Kimbers. I usually carry a Kimber Pro Covert II which came from the factory with CT Laser grips and night sights. The Meprolights should drop right in w/o any issues.

:iagree: You can't go wrong with Meprolight or Trijicon.

Midway has reasonable prices. Not the cheapest, just reasonable.

Mine came with factory installed Meprolight night sights and they are great in all lighting conditions.
In bright light they look like a regular three dot set up, but at night they put off a nice glow.
