other than a dumb leo racking the slide back with the trigger lock turned to SAFE, and doing some damage, i have never had issue with the safety,
You mean the ILS? That should prevent the slide from getting anywhere near locking position. What safety are you referring to?
TX CHL since August 2009.

RIA 1911 5" with Winchester Ranger 230gr.
Bersa Thunder .380 with Corbon DPX 80gr.
Ruger LCP with Corbon DPX 80gr.

"Safety Key:
Your pistol is provided with an internal locking system operated by a special key. It is located above the
trigger in the left side of the frame. In the unlocked position (F) the pistol is ready to fire. In the locked
position (S) you cannot cock the hammer,..
"

Forcably racking the slide which of course will try to cock the hammer can cause damage.

The 'exception'? :lol::

I would pay money to see your Bersa outperform a Glock, Sig Sauer, M&P....take your pick.

Wasn't trying to hurt anyone's feelings. Only trying to help. Carry what you wish, to each his own, its your life...do what you wish with it.... :lol::
