I lived near Chrystal Lake N/w of Chicago but drove the 5 county area
and once in a while over the road.
Started in the 60s to the last of the 80s when I got injured and had to change to a different type of work.

I now the area well.

I bet the transition from Ill. gun laws to Texas gun Laws just blew your mind. WOW, you don't have to have a license to own one here, just to carry it every day. What a concept.

Chicago is getting as bad as DC.

Like the saying goes I'am not a native Texan but I got down here to the land of the free as soon as I could. :smile:
The people here friendly strangers here say hello or nod and ask
how are you doing a whole different life style than up north.
Its great .
