Marschal grips****PICS ADDED***
has anyone ever done any dealings with Marschal grips?? i am curious to know if the grips are nice enough to deal with the terrible customer service they have. I ordered a set from them well over a month ago and still cant find any tracking info. The would have to be some crazy nice grips for me to ever order there again.

Re: Marschal grips
I have heard they are incredible looking. Sux to hear companies that make awesome stuff with sub par customer service.

I placed an order with them about 3 weeks ago, took a week to show up on the tracker and as of right now shows an expected shipping of mid-April.
Considering where they are coming from, I have no problem with that.
Write him and ask for an update. Can't hurt.

Re: Marschal grips
Had some grips made for a SIG P6 about 2 years ago. They did an excellent job but took awhile. Considering that they are overseas, I was willing to accept the delay because the grips were fantastic...

Re: Marschal grips
Interesting you should ask... I ordered 2 sets in mid Dec and was charged for both. Next day I sold one of the guns and wrote and asked them if they could cancel the one and still ship the other....week went by, wrote again, nothing. Waited 2 more weeks and specifically asked if they would at least reply...again, nothing. MONTH went by, wrote again, nothing. Also, since a month and a half went by, and I still was not listed on the updates, I asked about the time frame, never received any letter, but this time was update as in the system. FINALLY in last week of Feb there was an update in their system that it was preparing for shipping, but no letter from them. I wrote one more time saying if they did not respond about whether they could cancel the one, I would go to every gun forum and repeat it...suddenly next day their was a refund on paypal and a note apologizing for the delay. Got the grips this week...very pretty... DOESN'T FIT. I'm not going to waste money shipping them back to Hungary, but I'll never do business with them again.

Re: Marschal grips
There is no grip maker whose product is so good that I would put up with that kind of bad service. Period. I'm just not so vain about my gun's appearance that I would have to have a grip like that.

Re: Marschal grips
I have found that many after market grips require some "adjustments" my dremmel tool fit the bill to get my grips fitting perfectly, it they do not fit tightly then just remove a little at a time and you will be fine.

Re: Marschal grips
That part is do-able, that one side needed some trimming. BUT now the grips are thicker than the stock, so that the factory screw will not reach through to the other side and engage the other side of the grip. These appear a special sized screw, so don't know of anything aftermarket that would be longer to reach and then fit the threading of the made in the grip nut. Hope this makes sense. Here are pics of how they are made and you can see the screw hole http://www.marschalgrips.com/fegpa63/fegpa63.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Salty1 wrote:I have found that many after market grips require some "adjustments" my dremmel tool fit the bill to get my grips fitting perfectly, it they do not fit tightly then just remove a little at a time and you will be fine.
The customer service though is what got my goat.
Thanks for any suggestions
BTW, this is for an FEG PA-63

Re: Marschal grips
Good grips is not just about appearance. It makes a big difference on hold and how well you can stay on target. At least that's the case for me...

Re: Marschal grips
My biggest problem is that if you are going to have an online business and take orders from people, at least acknowledge that the order has been received. You have my money. I cant even get a response of any kind. Im just glad i used paypal to pay for it. They have been helpfull in the past getting my money back.

Re: Marschal grips
Ok, the grips came today and i couldnt wait to get them on the gun. I gotta say, they are absolutely gorgeous!!! the fit is flawless. better than the factory grips. Now that i know it takes two months, i would absolutely order them again. I will put up some pictures if anyone is interested.
