Nice! That RTF drove me bonkers though, I couldn't do it. Not sure if our new 21SF's are going to have it when my dept switches from the venerable G22.

Re: Just got a Gen 4 Glock 22
it came with 3 I have the smallest one in and the Medium one feels like a standard size and the large on is like a G21 size.
I will be out shooting it today and will post how well it did .

This is the featured gun in this month's Handgunner magazine. I haven't read it yet, but noticed it grabbed several pages along with the centerfold.

The RTF grip is a little too abrasive for me personally. I have tried to warm up to it several times already, but I keep thinking I like my 3rd gen better. It would be great for use it competition or on duty with gloves though.

Very Nice!!
If you owned a 3rd Gen G22, could you post a comparison?
I love my 3g G22, but wouldn't mind trading in for a new 4g G22....
thanks

I only have a 2nd Gen for a 22 and I will find the one I looked at the other day and post a link to it.

Are you speaking about the "RTF2" grip? The original RTF grip (better known as the "Stab You In The Hands Pyramids") have been replaced with a non-pointy surface, but still very grippy. I haven't fondled a new Gen4 Glock yet myself, but everything I hear from peeps is that the new RTF is a "Goldilocks Grip" ("Just right")RECIT wrote:The RTF grip is a little too abrasive for me personally. I just can't warm up to those grips. I will admit I didn't like the finger grooves in the grips when they first came out either. I have since gotten use to them...maybe I will get use to this style too.

Re: Just got a Gen 4 Glock 22
I finally got around to reading the article in this month's American Handgunner magazine. They seem smitten with the Gen 4. I'll summarize the 4 page article: Excellent grip on an already mechanically-excellent gun.
I haven't picked one up and I don't own a Glock so I dunno.

Cool. Think I'll check one out at the gunshow this weekend before I make my decision. I'm torn between that and a Glock 22C. We'll see.

I'm waiting to see the G19 Gen 4. Might have to pick up another one.
