Ruger M77 Mark II Stainless Var Rifle 22-250

Well I was out in Caddo Mills today with a friend and this caught my eye.. As I have gotten slightly tired of my Bushmaster AR-15 and finally got disgusted with the service of Special Weapons in Arizona on my SP-10 and its issues, I traded the SP-10 in for this beauty. And got an awesome deal!

Range report and more details to follow tomorrow when I get back from the range.

That's a beauty!

Should be highly effective on anything from prairie dogs to coyotes, right on out there to as far as you care to shoot.

Dunno about that BSA scope, though. They make both decent quality, and pure junk. I hope that's one of the good ones.

Thanks KB -

Well I must say I am impressed. I have no problem getting a 2" grouping at 450 yards.

A Very nice rifle. It took a good portion of the afternoon sighting in the scope after the boresighting.

I would reccomend this rifle for those who want to shoot at distances without a lot of $$

Thanks
Jim

Good shootin', Jim!

Two inches at 450 yards is below minute-of-prairie dog, at a range beyond which you're likely to see them without some very expensive glass.

Thanks! I have come very attatched to this rifle as it is my first non-black rifle. My only issues now are resolving costs for 22-250 ammo. Thinking its time to start looking into reloading :)
