380 ammo in Houston
Hi everyone. I am new to this forum, but I wanted to share a tip. I hope this is the right place. I went to the Top Gun Range in Houston today and they have a lot of 380 ammo in stock. It is PMC 90 grain FMJ. They have it for $34 a box. It is a bit pricy. They also had a few boxes of 100 round Remington 90 grain defensive hollow point in stock.

I hope this helps a few of you.

Re: 380 ammo in Houston
I just ordered 500 rounds of magtech fmj from Cabellas for $18/box with what they listed as a 0-1 week backorder, so if you're not desperate for ammo yet, it'd probably be better to order online than pay double that at Top Gun :)
Either way, there's no reason 380 should cost this much.

I hope that price you quoted is a mis-type..
I was just in Academy at Willowbrook mall on my lunch break and they have the Monarch ammo (50 rd box) for $13.99. It's behind the counter and my eyes are not good enough to read what weight the bullets were.

I ordered hollowpoints of various brands of .380 (and the rare .32, and 9mm) like hydroshoks yesterday and got them today from ammunitiontogo.com ... pretty good selection, must have just gotten a shipment.

Re: 380 ammo in Houston
The ammo pricing at the gun shows hat been down right robbery. I have seen a few vendors asking $50 per 100rds WWB. That is just a LITTLE steep. I have had much better luck with Academy or buying in bulk off the web. I would not buy ammo at a gun show unless you HAVE to have it.jmdevera wrote:There is a pasadena gun show this weekend ill be attending and then the huge houston gun show next weekend. Re: 380 ammo in Houston
I have gone to their site a few times and they are out of FMJ. .380 has been very hard to find. However, I just found some at Collectors in Houston for $19 per box of 50. I am pretty well stocked up now.RPB wrote:I ordered hollowpoints of various brands of .380 (and the rare .32, and 9mm) like hydroshoks yesterday and got them today from ammunitiontogo.com ... pretty good selection, must have just gotten a shipment.

Re: 380 ammo in Houston
I have several boxes plus several boxes of the Hornady Critical Defense rounds. I guess I have been fortunate to find the ammo because I have not had a problem finding any.
