Austin gun liquidators

#1

Post by Bonc_CHL »

Just wanted to let everyone know bout this little place, I don't not work there or am affiliated in any way shape or form!
I went and checked out Austin gun liquidators this weekend and we pretty impressed on selection and prices, I have been to just about every gun store in a 50 mile radius in the past month or so, and AGL was very competitive. The two guys that were working were very friendly and helpful, I was just window shopping and they were still nice! Just sharing the knowledge...

Please tell us some more about their selection:

The term "liquidator" makes me think of used guns from cop shops that are
switching to other weapons.

Do they sell new, used, or both?

Do they have both handguns and long guns?

How's the ammo selection, if any?

They sell both new and used.... They for sure had more new then used. Glock,SA, Kimber, S&W, STI, all the normal ones.
They are one of the only places that I have seen STI guns for sale. Quite a selection of AR-15's and other long guns.
I did see ammo but I was too busy drooling over a few guns and do not recall excatly what they had.

This is a great shop. I have been there a few times now. Last time I was there I bought a Metro Arms American Classic II 1911 .45 for my son. :fire It was $429.00, It looks like its going to be a great gun. Took it to the range once so far and ran about 200 rounds thru it without a single problem.

As far as ammo, they have a pretty good selection. But there prices are a bit higher than some places. But overall not to bad. Dont have alot of details on what they had.

The guy that runs the shop is very cool with window shopping, and very helpful when you do actually want to buy one.

Good selection of HK's and STI's

Not that great on ammo, but that's what wally world is for.
