Hi All!

I've been on the fringes of the CHL forum for some time, so I thought I would introduce myself.

Female - pushing 50 (that can be hard work!)
Emergency Management AND a full time student (What on earth was I thinking?)
Married to CHL forum member, williamkevin, one son and a future daughter in law
CHL Holder (one whole month now!)
NRA EPL Member
Taurus PT111 Millenium Pro 9mm
HK USP 9mm

I look forward to getting to know everyone a bit!

Welcome Aboard 5thGen and Tlynn! Glad to have y'all here!
You will love this place. Grab a cup of coffee, pull up a chair and visit!

5thGen - your signature almost got me - at first glance, I thought you said you had a soft spot for the 'Nointed one" (_bama), :nono: then I looked again and realized you meant the state not him.

Anyway,
Welcome aboard to you both!

"Carry" on!

hello, been lurking for a week checking out the place and liked what I saw

I am a 34 yr old male in college to get my RN degree. I've been a licensed chl holder for 1 month and am a member of the Texas State Guard.
I carry a springfield .45 and a AMT back-up .22. I look forward to gaining knowledge from everyone experiences.

Thanks Navy Chief

The family got to Texas after stops in Alabama for two generations and a couple of generations in S. Carolina they came from Germany & France for freedom, well before the kings boys got kicked out. I've got 2 more generations down line and I've paid for the kids to get their CHL's oldest grandson will have his paid for by Paw-Paw as soon as he's legal. Hopefully we will still have "The Right to Bear Arms" in spite of the Nobama's of the world. I'd like to know my G-grandkids will be able to have my daily carry as I have my G-grand dads old breaktop S&W it was in his pocket continuously after he bought it.

williamkevin, what an excellent phrase! Isn't that the truth! That phrase is well worth repeating!

I wonder if Charles, when conceiving this forum would, ever think that so much knowledge would be imparted on the participants here? I have not words to express my appreciation for the free schooling I got here. :txflag:

Thanks Joe. I don't know if this is what Chas. envisioned when he set it up, but I'm sure he understands the wealth of information present within any large group of people, especially when that group is focused of one topic. Whatever the reason, one can sure build one's "mental skill set" here!
