My favorite revolver for carry is a GP100 3" stainless. It is powerful, compact and accurate. It is bull strong but has no horns to catch clothing.

Good call!

I love old wheelguns, new wheelguns, tired, broken, I don't care. If it has a cylinder I want it.

Speaking of broken... Here's a pic of my dearly departed 37-2 airweight. She's probably already been incinerated at S&W. A moment of silence....

Her replacement. First trip to the range getting dirty.

I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

I had a Taurus 85 (38) that I really liked. I just sold of it and moved up to a Taurus 605 (357) that I haven't shot yet. It feels that same as the 85 but has the extra punch if needed. I've really been impressed with Taurus from a cost/value standpoint.

I have a Smith model 60, great for carrry. Tried airweight 642, just not for
me. Model 60 can handle 357 if needed. I carry Speer 38+P 135 grain. I just purchased a Dan Wesson Model 15 six pac about two months ago and it's the most accurate revolver I ever shot. Love it so much I just purchased another Model 15 with just the 4" barrel. It looks like it has never been fired. Don't know if I'm going to shoot it or not. The model 15 handles 357 almost like their 22's. Can't wait until winter so I can carry the 15 with the 2" barrel.

Here I was, fairly certain you were a former trooper, turned preacher. I didn't know about your former occupation in New Orleans!
