You find that on the interweb? I have a handgun I wouldn't mind trying that stuff on.

It's a little pricey for this, but the wife is wanting me to paint the outside of the house......

I wonder if the guys on the International Space Station could see my house from there?? I could save money on my exterior security lighting, as well......Hmmmmm....

The wife may have a problem with this........

I just ordered one of these. I change sights enough to make it worth it for me. Might be a good idea for others too.

SA's wait times are heavily sand-bagged. I sent my 1011 in to them for a whole bunch of stuff, and they said 8 weeks. I got it back in two weeks. Changing sights is a 20-minute task. I would really be surprised if they had your pistol longer than a week.
Took class, paid fees, changed my mind. I want constitutional carry.

McBride's and Red's (south, on 290) will both do it. Well, they will both provide most gunsmithing services and McBride's has worked on sights for me.

I ordered some Meprolite night sights from Kahr for my PM9 and my sons P380 that arrived today. I finally got the sights out of my PM9 after beating them like a red headed step child, but good night nurse they were tight. My new sight tool has not arrived yet but I am impatient. I thought about wacking the new sights until they went on but have changed my mind. I sure hope the sight tool I ordered is built well. The sights on my PM9 were MUCH harder to remove than my Glock sights.

Anyone have any experience with Kahr sights they want to share? This may be a little bit of a hijack but it is about sights so I thought it would be easier than starting a new thread.

Euless Guns & Ammo will install them, but it will cost you about $100. Installing night sights on the XD stinks! Glocks are a piece of cake. :cheers2:

Your cheapest route will probably be to send it back to Springfield and have them do it. As I recall, they are pretty reasonable.

Euless Guns & Ammo installed a set of Meprolight sights which I had ordered from Midway on my USP Compact a couple of weeks ago, and they did a good job. Unfortunately, I never really checked out the brightness of the sights in a dark room until a week or so later, and they turned out to be extremely dim — so dim in fact, that the front sight was completely invisible in the dark. I phoned Midway this morning and was told I could return the sights and exchange them for a set of Trijicons at the same price. So I am expecting the new sights on Monday, and I'll take the gun back to EGA, have the sights swapped out, and return the Mepros to Midway.

All that to say that, if you're still looking for a place to have the sights mounted on your XD, Euless Guns & Ammo does pretty good work.

They charged me $35.00 to put the sights on my USPc, but maybe they are easier to install than on an XD.

TAM, I have found Meps to be brighter than Trijicons and so I think that you just got a bad set. I have also found the Meps to be easier to use for daytime shooting as well. Of course being able to pick up the sights at night is important, but thus far I have found myself shooting a lot more during the day "rlol"
Anyhow we are all different, so this is just a fyi.

The two sets of meps I just purchased are all just as bright as my Trijicons. I just ran and checked them when I read TAMS post. I bet TAM just received a defective sight. Sounds like it worked out well though. I would gladly take a set of Trijicons for the same price as a set of Meps.
