Have the opportunity to pick up a Remington Spartan Over/Under 12ga shotgun for 300 shipped with only about 150 shells through it. I realize its Remington's lower end of O/Us but I am not looking for the best of the best, just something fun to shoot and enjoy. They're imported from Russia.
Here is a link to its product page at Remington's website.

Let me know if you all have any first-hand experience or heard things from reliable sources about this line of shotguns. Don't want to pick something up that is going to fall apart on me in a few thousand rounds. Thanks in advance!

It certainly has a lot of good features:

I can't speak to how well it will hold up, only because.. that is a function of design, metallurgy, and fit (tolerances), if these are good...then so is the gun. It does incorporate a Browning lock up system, and quite a few other desirable features IMO.
For $300.00 (shipped), I'd jump on it. Sounds like it will fill your needs and wants perfectly. If not, it should sell easily.

Spartans ask not how many, but where!
