Ruger LCPs at Academy

FYI, Ruger LCPs seem to be trickling into Academy. The one on Forest and 75 in Dallas had 2 last week, one of which I left with. So keep your eyes open.

Oh, and looks like the prices will start coming down too. The ones at Academy were $349 but included a Ruger hard case and 2 mags.

I picked one up last month at the Academy by Town East Mall. Paid $329 for it, and it came with the hard case and two mags like the ones you are talking about. I have put about 80 rounds through it so far, and I like it.

LOL. I've got an LCP. I just returned from the local Academy and, of course, they're out of .380, along with most other ammo. So... NOW you can get an LCP but NO ammo for it.

A guy I work with said the Sherman store had a waiting list with 18 names on it. It was only 18 because they had lost thier original list of 50.

Swung by at lunch today and there was one LCP in the case at the Academy at Forest and 75. I'm sure it won't last long.

On Sunday 2/23 while getting my wife a Taurus, I figured I might as well get on Shermans Academy LCP wait list (4th down). They called late Monday the 24th. Picked it up on Tuesday. Went to shoot it today at Red River. Shoots good, and will make a great pocket carry backup for the Kimber.

For San Antonio folks - they have 2 each at the Academy on SE Military (confirmed today as I was buying more ammo during lunch). They HAD 2 each at the Academy at Potranco and Loop 1604 last week. I bought 1 so that only left one. $349 with case and 2 mags; ser 371+ with metal clip release.
