Is it more appropriate to send letters to the Senators' regional offices or the offices in DC?

A few links to better keep an eye on our opponents . . .

I printed and sent my letters a few weeks ago. I don't think we're out of the woods, nor do I think apathy has a place in our society. We are to be a government for the people and by the people, and we need to take a more active role.
I don't think sending a letter that was written for you is too much to ask.
IMO, printing out a pre-written letter, signing it, and addressing and stamping an envelope and mailing it out is much easier than letting them take my guns out of my "cold, dead hands," only for my children to fight an uphill battle to get them back.

I sent in my NRA postcards yesterday.

After seeing Rebecca Peters debate Wayne, the seriousness of the situation really became clear. The NRA isn't exaggerating at all that these people want our guns... all of them... self defense guns... hunting guns... sporting guns...

Rebecca was nice to point out that the NRA was one of the only organizations standing in her way and that if/when IANSA takes your sporting gun... "you'll just have to find another sport"

According to her, self defense with a gun only happens in the movies

Does anybody sincerly believe that Koffi A or some other foriegn jerk will give a flip that you have sent them a letter telling them that you are against them taking up your firearms, so they can be rulers of the world?

A letter to John Bolton might be a better Idea.

Me, I've been working against anti gun propaganda and DemoMarxist for 46 years. Now I'm too old. Now I just tell them what I will do if they attempt to take my firearms.

They listen to no argument or reason. They have their agenda, the rule over you and your children. When Gun Owners realize that, that its not just the control of firearms, but the control of men and women, maybe gun owners will do something that will really cause the anti gunners to sit up and take notice.

I think sending them a letter is more about a show of resolve. It's a demonstration that the NRA, it's members, and supporters are standing together against IANSA. And that we're willing to fight.

Roger that!

Its like the deaf man who went to church every Sunday. After services one weekend... the pastor stopped the man and wrote him a note asking: (Why do you come to church every week, you can't hear what is being said, and we have no one here to "sign" for you)?

The deaf man took the pad and wrote back: Just so the devil will know who's side I'm on!

I sent mine in, just so folks will know.

in light of canada repealing their long gun registry, i'd say things are looking pretty good. even canada, one of the most liberal countries on the planet, has enough gun people to sway their legislature in favor of firearm owners (a billion dollars on registration didn't hurt either).

even bill clinton admitted that the assault weapons ban cost 22 members of the US legislature their seats. those guys haven't forgotten; you can't file frivolous lawsuits against gun makers anymore.

the crap in new orleans changed a lot of people's minds about owning guns. look at the skyrocket increase in CHLs there.

all but two states in the US have concealed carry laws.

in another month or so, i'm sending in my check to purchase another gun FROM MY GOVERNMENT.

the UN is weak. bush got to appoint some rather pro gun justices, and anything passed through the UN would certainly be subject to supreme court scrutiny. i'm not saying it isn't something to completely ignore, but i also don't see that it has a snowball's chance in hell of having any impact here in the states. kofi has a hard time controlling the roaming thug gangs in ghana, much less anywhere else. he's a crook.

Chris,
everything you've said is true, but we the people should still not sit by and wait until the knock comes on the front door.

The IANSA, Soros, Kofi, the Clintons, Schumers, and Feinstines aren't going anywhere soon. They will forever be attempting to take control of our lives starting with our firearms. Remember, it was about 2 years ago that legislation from the dems trying to outlaw certain rifle ammo was narrowly defeated. I guarantee you they have it and more legislation ready to go if they get control of congress and/or the presidency. They will piece by piece outlaw certain ammo, certain firearms, with or without the UN. ALWAYS be on guard against these folks, do NOT sit by and do nothing just because it seems things are comfortable for the moment.

ditto. Told the folks at the church, "don't fool yourself, if you won't get in the little fight you will never get in the big fight at the front door."

Ladies and Gentlemen.... They've taken notice  :

""I myself have received over 100,000 letters from the U.S. public, criticizing me personally, saying, 'You are having this conference on the 4th of July, you are not going to get our guns on that day,"' said Prasad Kariyawasam, Sri Lanka's U.N. ambassador. "
