Why wait? Send it in and get it over with.

I got my box on Monday the 15th and UPS picked it up on the 16th. It will probably be right after Xmas.

:anamatedbanana Yea! My LCP was just returned! :woohoo

I sent it our on Dec. 10 and was returned on Dec. 18. :thumbs2:

Of course, they sent along all the extra goodies and a cool hat.

Now I just need to go and try it out.

I'm waiting until after Christmas to send mine in. I have some more slightly formal occasions to attend where semi-formal attire doesn't lend to easy concealment of my main carry gun. Since I still like to pack a BUG (even if it issecond to the lowly PA-63), I'm gonna hold off. Shipping will probably be quicker and easier by then anyway.

Strange. My package went out yesterday (from me to Ruger) but today the UPS website says:
Type: Package
Status: Returned to Shipper
Returned On: 12/18/2008 10:27 A.M.
Signed By: RALPH
Location: FRONT DESK
Returned To: PRESCOTT, AZ, US
Service: NEXT DAY AIR
Weight: 2.00 Lbs

Returned to Shipper
UPS has returned the shipment to the original sender's location because it was unable to be delivered. Please see the tracking detail for more information.

What should I do?
Contact the original sender of the shipment directly to have it reshipped, to make alternate arrangements, and/or validate your delivery address.

I don't know why they are returning it to me without accepting the shipment. I guess I'll just wait and see what happens.

I am sorry about that ArmedFarmer, that does sound a little strange. Maybe the web site just messed up...we can hope anyway.

Good Luck!

I got the box on Mon. 15th. Started trying to call on Tue. Line was busy several times. When I did get through recording was full. Finally got to leave my #. They called Wen. UPS picked up Thurs.

Hope it's just the phone lines that are that backed up at Ruger.

Bought a 370 series tonight at Academy in Humble, it comes with two magazines and has the diamond mark behind the hammer. I paid $329.00. They said they just got them in the store this morning.
Earlier this week, on my way back to Houston from Dallas, I stopped at Gander Mountain in Corsicana. They had a bunch (about 7) of the 370 series with two magazines and the diamond for $349.00. At the gun show in Pasadena yesterday, one of the vendors had some on the table for $449.00.
Amazing, the price difference for the same gun.

Congratulations, Glen, on finding a good deal on your LCP and welcome to the forum. We are very glad to have you on board. I just got my LCP back from Ruger a couple of days ago and I am glad it is back home. I haven't had a chance to get to the range to try it out yet, but I am looking forward to it.

Well, I'm glad to report that despite the strangeness on UPS' website, my LCP came back to me today, serviced and with a hat and new magazine. Back on the shelf it goes.
