Looking for a S&W revolver gunsmith

#1

Post by solaritx »

I have an older S&W 1917 .45 revolver that needs a bit of gunsmithing. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Houston would be prefered but anywhere in Texas would be considered.

Thanks

Try ParkHill Gunworks. He was actually recommended to me by two gun shops. I took my S&W m66 to him for inspection, he gave it a good treatment.

+1 for Martin at Parkhill. Great smith if you can get past his "Canadian" thing. :biggrinjester:

This gent is 'semi-retired' and is about the most opinionated, cantakerious, and talented guy that I am aware of. Actions By T in Sugarland. The 'T' is for Teddy Jacobsen.

Mr. Jacobsen has a web site.

PS.

How did Richmond fare post Ike?

thnx,

sd.

I am not aware of a competent wheel-smith in HOU but I can tell you that using Actions by T will cost you a bunch of $. I also have other reasons for not recommending him but can't post them here.
