Congrats!
I have had a Steel Semi-Compact Model Baby Eagle in 9mm for 3 or so years now. I have been more than impressed with it. Its very accurate and fits very well in my hand. Its probably a little heavier than say a glock but its very well balanced. I guess I have about 750rds thru mine and have not had any problems at all.... On thing I have found is that it like factory mags better than the after markets....
Hope you get to shoot it soon!!

I am a huge fan. It is a great weapon that is built like a tank. Not quite a waif of a carry gun, but all that steel and on 9MM makes for a great plate gun. It is rock solid with very light recoil. Shoot it in the best of health.

All I can say is AWESOME!!!
Well I got to shoot yesterday, and I just have to say. The "Jerico" or baby Desert Eagle has now taken 1st place with me.......Never had such a great feeling! I thought my PPK/s would always be top dog for me, however after yesterday I must confess the 9mm has my heart! What a joy to shoot, no recoil to speak of and very accurate. Not to mention its a great self defense gun. Oh and the trigger pull was so smooth. Sorry I guess I could just go on and on!
I would recommend this gun for any female, especally if your like me, new to shooting. I put 150 rounds through it and not once did it jam or misfire. Makes me so glad I didn't just stay with revolvers.

Glad to hear that you really like your new gun there txbell1. The gun will only get smoother and smoother as you continue to shoot it. It's really a shame that these pistols dont get more notariety, especially at the price they are sold for. They have gone up recently, but still very reasonable. Magnum Research just doesnt have a large advertising campaign, as they depend more on word of mouth from BE gun owners.
These guns are built like tanks for a reason when you consider their country of origin.

Is the CZ Amby on the safety? I keep wanting to go look at them, I keep hearing alot of good things about them. However I am Left handed thus making the Deagle a good choice. You'll be happy to know in the XD forums I hang out in someone posted the question what gun would you carry if the XD's didnt exist?.... the CZ 75 was the most popular answer.Kalrog wrote:Well SOMEBODY had to! And for the record - I do like the baby eagles. I just like the CZ line better (both 75 and 97).Geopagus wrote:Just had to go there, didnt you Kalrog.
