I know that the last time American's 2nd Amendment rights were taken away was during Katrina in New Orleans, but do any of you know how many times that this has been done by our Govt? I have looked but having a hard time finding anything.

Funny how they didn't need to send in troops to stop rioting in Iowa.

I spend some time in that part of the world, and they had their sob stories. I know a lot of folks in Biloxi and Gulfport some were feeling pretty defeated and beaten down there were tears lots of tears. The press was more concerned about New Orleans. The press didn't seem to understand that Gulfport and Biloxi got flattened. The flood insurance wouldn't pay out because 6the houses had their roofs blown off. Flood insurance wouldn't pay because they were flooded by the surge tide. The Government didn't help because they weren't able to make as much noise as NOLA. Charities didn't help because they thought all the destruction was in NOLA.
