does it come with a booker hook device to operate the bang switch,no wonder you can't carry jewelry shaped like a pistol on airplanes, remember the belt buckle derringer it was a 22 IIRC and when you pushed a switch the pistol swung out from buckle at a 90 degree angle allowing you to pull trigger

The gun is banned from being imported into the US - because it's barrel is less than three inches, meaning it is deemed too small to qualify for sporting purposes.

Is this true? I have one of the little .22 "belt buckle" guns with a 2" barrel. Is it not legal?

The ban is only for guns that are imported. Homegrown short barrels are ok. Hence, S&W snub noses and similar.

It works, but it's not based on under/over a 3" barrel. There's a point system that the ATF uses to determine whether or a given handgun is "sporting enough" to be imported, and this gun falls woefully short. As to barrel length, guns with barrels under 6" get no points.

EDIT: For revolvers, the barrel only has to be 4 1/4 inches to start earning points. Only pistols are required to have a 6 1/4 inch barrel before earning points.

The gun is not able to be imported for more reasons then just the length of the barrel.
