I have been lurking around for a while and finally decided to join. I am retired U.S. Army and my family and I live in Harker Heights. My wife and I both enjoy shooting and each of us have our own firearm, she likes 9MM, I am partial to 1911 .45's. We are not CHL yet, but will be when we can find a local class. Any other members in our area?

Welcome to the forum! You have come to the right place their are a lot of good people here that are willing to help in any way they can, not to mention a treasure-trove of information. I am in West Texas, but I am sure there is someone from your area here on the forum and will have some information available on a class that is near by you. It is good to have you, pull up a chair, sit back and enjoy some good company. Oh yeah,.... amen on that 1911 .45! :thumbs2:

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.
