Mike,

An individual that joins this site wearing the Obama banner in their signature line spouting about their having a CHL, a firearm, and spouting about disliking "assault weapons" is hardly someone desiring to learn more about freedom and spreading liberty.

We certainly must tolerate her to a point. I doubt we will convert her.

If it walks like a troll and talks like a troll........

I suppose you're right, anygun. But to be totally honest, I find her presence here very unsettling, and I'm not really comfortable with her. Amber, if you read this and you're offended, I appologize. But until you show me otherwise, I'm still a little untrusting of your intent here, as I'm positive others are as well.

Sorry Amber, but I guess I was wrong. I have to expand my gun show attendance a little. The ones I have been to, in San Antonio and the surrounding area do not have class III weapons dealers at them that I have seen. I think I will see if I can get to one of the bigger cities and see if I can find any assault weapons at a gun show for you.

Just to be clear, would you define what you meant since I think we might disagree. I use the definition of a intermediate powered rifle cartridge weapon that fires selective fire (full or semi-automatic). I don't think mine is quite the same as the military definition but it captures the gist of it. A larger caliber would be a machine gun, and a pistol caliber would be a sub machine gun. Of course there is the machine pistol for things like a selective fire MAC 11, but if they were really common MAC would still be in business making them.

But then, Steve, you would be talking about an assault rifle, a clearly defined firearm, not the ill defined "assault weapon."

If I could actually put into words what went through my head when I read her first post and saw that nasty mug of BHO on her sig line....definitely not 10 year old daughter material.

Being right of center, even extreme is not required for hanging out here but it helps. We have members who are democrats, and I can accept the old Zell MIller democrats that the lefties abandoned. They vote pro-2A. I am sympatghetic to them because the GOP has abandoned me and gone left.

What bothers me the most about Amber's type is that they espouse rights and freedom, but want to take mine away.

They must learn that where my rights begin, theirs end. The lesson needs to be painful.

it might be best to just let it go. I don't think that "calling out" someone for confrontation is the proper way to handle the situation. I still believe that the old adage of "never have a battle of wits with the unarmed" fits this case well.

Dude, the insult wasn't shot your direction  And, I hope Mr Rothstein recognized when I first posted the statement about a "battle of wits" that it was NOT directed at him. I've been around the forums long enough to spot potential trouble makers, and hoped the "Don't Feed the Trolls" sign would come out.

Anyway, I agree, lets get back to the original posters question and his original request for information ;-)
