Defensive gun use the hard way. Hopefully the homeowner has a full and quick recovery.

That's insane. I'm glad only the BG ended up in a body bag.

More of a reason to carry if you own a business run out of your own home, or strangers are coming over.

I know DWS117 was packing when we did a pistol swap and I don't blame him one bit. Stranger from the internet coming over to deal with guns...of course you want to be armed.

How much more so if there is 4 guys there and you have a family.

Hopefully this will serve as a wake up call and more people will arm themselves.

Name the movie:

Person 1: "Cartridges. How much?"

Storekeeper: "$50"

Person 1: [Pointing pistol at storekeeper's face] How much?"

Storekeeper: "$100!"

Person 1: [Slow clicking of single action pistol cocking]

Storekeeper: "$200!!"

Person 1: "Hehehe. Open . . ."

Yeah, I know it wasn't exactly a home business, but close enough. All the young guys are thinking Cotton's gone nuts with this one, but there have to be some guys of my vintage out there that remember this movie.

Would it happen to have Clint Eastwood in it, and involve "dollars"? ;-)

Yes and sort of. Can't be more specific, but you're on the right track.

Come on now, I was only packing two.

Nick's correct. Stories such as this one are the reasons. My 4 year old and 3 week old can't protect themselves. Fortunately Nick is a really good guy. But you never know. I'd rather be paranoid than dead. An attempted break in at my home while my wife was pregnant with our son is the reason I bought my first gun.
