Did Ruger give in?

#1

Post by dws1117 »

I was looking on the Ruger site for the P95. Had one several years ago that we regretfully had to sell. My wife is wanting thinking about a replacement. While looking through the new items I saw this .
It is listed asa KP9515. It would seem that the 15 in the model number indicates that is comes with 2 15 round magazines! There were several pistols listed with standard cap mags.

I was under the impressions that even with Bill's death they were not going to offer standard caps to the peasents.

The semi-auto rilfes are still only being offered with 5 round mags.

I purchased my P89 during the AWB so I only got 2 x 10 round magazines. Well, I picked up some no-name 15 rounders that have worked pretty well, but I don't trust them for CCW work because they aren't 100%. Now that the AWB is gone, I have been able to pick up some NIB factory 15 rounders that have worked perfectly. So I don't know if the new pistols are shipping with standard cap magazines or not, but I know that they are available for a very reasonable price (I think they were about $20 each at my LGS).
